This shirt was inspired by Brigadier General Charles Young and many like him who lost their lives due to social injustices. The quote on the shirt reads:

“When maintaining the ‘status quo’ is more important than addressing social injustices we will remain trapped in this cycle of inequity. Regardless if we take a knee or have a knee placed on our necks, black lives have been systemically muted by the powers that be! However, with unbowed heads, we stand ready to face the menace of our oppression! Our suffering will be heard!”
